The Spotsy County Board of Supervisors has been put to task to bring Spotsy County a dedicated Senior Center. But they need to hear from you! We have 40k residents 55+, but very few show up to Board of Supervisor meetings or write to the Board to voice their demands that seniors have a place to go during the week to meet other seniors. We have an ever-growing Amazon Wish List that we'd love your support to fulfill.
Items on the list are ones that the seniors in Spotsy County can use for recreational activities through the Spotsy County Parks and Rec community centers. Because the County has a limited budget (we are working to get the budget increased), this list can help supplement the wants/needs of seniors who like to play games, do fitness activities, enjoy arts and crafts, etc. We are NOT an official organization, just a group of seniors working to ensure a rich and fulfilling social life on a fixed income.
